The Instructor
Professor Ramayah Thurasamy is currently attached to the Operations Management section at the School of Management, Universiti Sains Malaysia. He is a trained Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) expert having been trained by Professor Joseph Hair (Kennesaw State University), Professor David Kenny (University of Connecticut), Professor Gregory Hancock (University of Maryland), Professor Everarda Cunningham (Queensland University of Technology) and Professor Christian Ringle (University of Hamburg). He has conducted Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) workshops in Malaysia, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand and India. He has also conducted workshops in UUM, UKM, UTM, UiTM, UMK, UMS, UNIMAS, USIM, UMT, UMP, UTHM, INTAN and Polytechnic Colleges in Malaysia.. Among the numerous papers at local and international conferences he has presented, he has won 5 “Best Papers” awards. His has more than 300 publications which have appeared in Journal of Environmental Management, Technovation, Journal of Business Ethuics, Journal of Business Economics and Management, Computers in Human Behavior, Resources, Conservation and Recycling, International Journal of Information Technology & Decision Making (IJITDM), International Journal of Information Management, Lecture Notes in Computer Science, Turkish Online Journal of Education Technology, Information Development, Journal of Project Management (JoPM), International Journal of Services and Operations Management (IJSOM), Engineering, Construction and Architectural Management (ECAM) and North American Journal of Psychology among others. He also serves on the editorial boards and program committee of several international journals and conferences of repute. His

Please install the software and try out the basic steps. As this is an advanced class, it is good to get familiar with the software. Do not download the software at the last minute as it will take some time to download. You can get the software from the School of Management IT department. Below are some files that could help you get familiar with the software and method.

Workshop Details
This two-day workshop on advanced data analysis will introduce the advanced statistical techniques that are currently available for researchers. The workshop will help postgraduate students/new researchers perform complex analysis using the sample data provided. Guidelines on selecting the right techniques for different types of data will also be discussed. This workshop will have a practical hands on approach utilizing real research data sets with research questions that will be answered using the data available. Some useful tips on how and where to get published will be given.
