We will hold our first academic forum for the postgraduate students in SOM on the 5th of April, 2014. The forum will be held regularly if there is good response from students.

Agenda for the forum on 5th April 2014:
1. Introduction
Time: 10.00am
Details: Students will be welcomed by the moderator and will be briefed about the planned trend of the academic forums.
2. Academic Sharing Session
Time: 10.15am
Topic: Content Analysis: An Introduction
Details: Students will be introduced briefly about the steps to conduct a content analysis while reading literature or to obtain insight when aiming to publish a paper based on literature review.
3. Academic Discussion Session
Time: 10.45am
Details: Students may discuss about the topic shared, suggest future topics, comment and ask for opinions about research issues.
4. Academic Grouping Session
Time: 11.15am
Details: Students will form specific groups based on areas of research, get other group members' contact details and discuss research topics for future meetings and the appointment of a representative to arrange regular group meetings either during forums or at other times.
5. Open Session
Time: 11.45am
Details: Students may discuss about university life and other issues like future sports activities, conference trips, recreational activities, volunteer initiatives.
6. End of Forum
Time: 12.15pm
Details: The academic forum will end and students are free to mingle and get to know each other more.
